Do you get easily distracted? I do, and it’s actually getting quite annoying. I prepare the recipe in my head, working through all of the steps and ingredients…and then something goes amiss. Somewhere between planning the meal and actually preparing the meal my brain goes on a vacation…a detour as it were and I’m left standing in the kitchen……..
Are you snowed in from the Great Blizzard of 2016? I obviously am not, I am in Arizona, but my facebook feed is filled with with some of the craziest videos and photos! Mounds and mounds of snow…everywhere! Well if you are snowed in, or just hungry, this Chicken and Rice Soup is the perfect way to warm up……..
Old Man Winter has arrived, so it’s time to start thinking about creating some hearty, body warming meals. I have always loved soup, especially soup with noodles. It just seems to scream out “Eat me, it’s cold outside, I will keep you warm!” This past weekend I decided to combine my love of soup, my love of Chinese food……..
The calendar claims that it is still fall, but it sure feels more like winter! While I am thankful that I no longer live in Iowa, and I did not have to shovel 11 inches of snow last week, I was not expecting it to be this cold in Arizona at the beginning of December. The upside to the unusually cold weather is that I had the perfect excuse to make this……..
Is it getting cold where you live? Are you ready to snuggle up under a warm blanket with a hot cup of homemade soup? Nine times out of ten, your soup recipe is going to require broth or stock as a base. Why not make that homemade soup extra special by making it with Homemade Chicken Stock? Yes, it does take a bit of time, but it is oh so worth it……..
There is just something so soothing and special about eating chicken soup when you are sick. Believe it or not, Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup is actually not that difficult to make, and it’s definitely worth the effort! I made my own Homemade Chicken Broth as well, but store bought works in a pinch……..
I am going to let you all in on a little secret…my favorite way to eat Chicken Fajitas, is wrapped in crispy, grilled tortillas and smothered in melted cheese! I have been making these Chicken Fajita Quesadillas for-ev-er! I have no idea why I have not shared this recipe yet, but here it is…better late than never, right?…
Well I made it to Arizona in one piece…unfortunately not all of my belongings did. My desk was destroyed so there is nowhere to set up my desk top computer, which means I am going to be sharing a few more round ups with you this week. I hope you don’t mind, but I don’t have the software that I need on this silly laptop to create my usual posts……..
