I cannot believe that it will be 2017 in less than a week! I still have so many Christmas recipes that I wanted to share, lol I think I will need to seriously consider doing Christmas in July next year so I can post them all ahead of time. Would that be weird? Oh well, until that happens we have a fun and sparkly Gold Royal Cocktail to ring in the new year with……..
The first week of December is almost over, my kitchen is still torn apart, and my Christmas tree is in desperate need of some ornaments! So how is your week going? In the middle of all the chaos, and because I only have 2 working outlets in my kitchen, I am sharing this fun Pomegranate Yule Mule with you to brighten your holidays…and mine……..
They would feast on Who-pudding, and rare Who-roast-beast. And they’d FEAST! FEAST! FEAST! I have never been to Who-ville, have you? Well of course you haven’t silly, but I would like to think that Grinch Who-punch would be served at the Whos holiday feast! Boy am I stretching on this one, lol……..
“Every Who down in Who-ville liked Christmas a lot. . .but the Grinch, who lived just north of Who-ville, did NOT!” While I do realize that Christmas is more than 6 weeks away, the election is tomorrow and I cannot wait for it to be over! The Grinch’s heart grew three sizes and he learned the error of his ways, I only hope that whatever the outcome is tomorrow……..
I don’t know what it is with me and the color green? I know that the “official” colors of Halloween are black and orange, but I can’t seem to create any recipes that are not green! Technically, witches are green…and so are Frankenstein and toxic waste. Or maybe it’s just because green is one of my favorite colors. Whatever the reason may be, this Poisoned Apple Cocktail……..
So how is Fall treating you so far? It actually feels like fall here in AZ, crazy right? The leaves are not turning colors, I don’t actually don’t think they can, but the weather has been cooler and rainy. This Hot Spiced Cider Toddy is exactly what you need to warm you up when the weather gets cooler, and it does not disappoint……..
The Olympic Games start tonight in Brazil, so I wanted to share a traditional cocktail for us to all sip while we enjoy watching our favorite sports. There is nothing more traditional than a Classic Brazilian Caipirinha, which is also known as the mojito’s cousin, and it’s just as easy to prepare……..
Summer is the time for fresh fruits, and peaches are one of my favorites! I still need to get around to making a fresh peach pie…but for now we will sink our straws into these delicious and refreshing Fresh Peach Margaritas. I cheat and make mine with frozen peaches because I like nice, thick margaritas, but fresh peaches would definitely work as well……..
