My birthday is in a few days, and I was in the mood to celebrate early with an amazing steak. There’s no surprise there, it is my favorite food group…but I wanted an over-the-top, truly decadent steak meal. A steak that would make an amazing, restaurant quality Dinner for Two meal without requiring a culinary degree to prepare! And the winner is…Steak Oscar……..
Dinner for Two
Raise your hands if you are ready for sunshine and warmer temperatures! I am not quite prepared for full-blown Arizona summer temperatures, but I would like for the rain to stop so the weeds will stop growing, LOL. Until that happens, I will continue to dream of an island paradise of sand, surf, and Pineapple Daiquiri Sorbet……..
I wanted a special salad to go with my Broiled Lobster Tails, and this Whole 30 Wedge Salad with Homemade Ranch Dressing was just what I was looking for! Not only was this an absolutely amazing birthday meal, but it would also be the ultimate Dinner for Two. I mean seriously, who would not fall in love with you after you prepare them this meal……..
Well it finally happened, it was too hot to grill outside last weekend! It’s really funny how much hotter 118 degrees feels versus 110 degrees, but it really did make a difference. So I decided to come up with something fun to make inside, on the stove, using a cast iron skillet…Southwest Pork Chops with sweet corn pan sauce……..
Do you ever crave something sweet and delicious, but you don’t want to eat an entire dessert by yourself? Or maybe you have a special dinner planned and don’t want a heavy dessert. Well guess what, this Apple Crisp for Two is exactly what you need!! Crisp, tart apples baked with a sweet and crunchy topping and topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream……..
