Do you ever eat breakfast for dinner? In fact, why do we label our meals? Why can’t we eat whatever sounds appealing to us at anytime of the day or night? We all know that pizza for breakfast is delicious, as is leftover Chinese food. This Sweet Potato Hash is one of those meals that fits into any category, and can be changed to fit the ingredients that you have on hand and what you are craving at that particular moment……..
Is it cold where you are? It is cold and raining here in Phoenix, perfect weather for Roasted Cauliflower and Garlic Soup! I actually bought the cauliflower for a different recipe, but this soup was calling my name. Or maybe I just had a deep desire to ward off vampires? Either way, it is delicious and totally healthy……..
Do you ever find yourself at the grocery store buying a week’s worth of food, then reach for a rotisserie chicken because you no long have the energy to go home and cook what you just purchased? I admit it, I am guilty. But have you ever looked at the ingredients label on that chicken? Yikes! My Instant Pot Faux-tisserie Chicken is pure goodness……..
Believe it or not, winter has made it’s way to Arizona! We have been in the 50’s and 60’s all week, and my mind has completely switched over to comfort foods. Of course the disaster in my kitchen could also be part of the appeal, but it was time for something thick, creamy, and hearty to try and warm me up……..
Have you purchased an Instant Pot® yet? If not, I will link you to an alternate method to prepare these Instant Pot Barbecue Ribs, it will just take a bit longer. I mentioned last week that my kitchen is torn apart and I am without electrical outlets at the moment, so I am coming up with some creative meals……..
The temperatures are finally dropping here in Arizona, and that means I can finally turn on the oven again!! And what should I make first? Pizza, I need pizza….I need a Sausage and Kale Pizza! A fresh and delicious pizza topped with Italian sausage, chopped kale, and fresh mozzarella to be exact……..
Who is ready for a big, comforting bowl of Slow Cooker White Chicken Chili after the long and crazy election season? It is actually delicious no matter what season it is, but I thought it would be extra special today. It doesn’t matter if your candidate won or lost, we have been through the ringer over the past 18 months and it’s time to sit back, take a deep breath……..
Is it just me, or does pork seem like a fall/winter type meal? Bacon and ribs are normally served year round, but chops and tenderloin seem to be make more sense in the fall. Maybe it’s because we tend to serve apple sauce with our pork chops, or I’m just completely delusional and not making any sense right now, lol. I guarantee that your family will enjoy this Pecan-Crusted Pork Tenderloin anytime of the year……..
