since Thanksgiving is now 5 months from yesterday!! Can someone please explain where all of the time goes? For all of you with small children that think things will slow down when your kids are grown…guess again. My kids are 22 and 25, and I still never seem to have enough time to get everything done!! Sorry if I just burst your bubble there. 😉

This Turkey Croissant Sandwich is another one of my favorite restaurant meals. A buttery croissant {which I purchased at a bakery} filled with sliced turkey, provolone cheese, and of course bacon, topped with lettuce and tomato for the perfect light, summer meal. It’s also the perfect way to use up all of that leftover Thanksgiving turkey. So in a way, I am actually 5 months ahead of schedule for recipes using leftover turkey….yaaaa, that’s it….I planned it this way. 😉

Not only are these sandwiches delicious, but they are also super simple to prepare.

How to make a Turkey Croissant Sandwich:

Slice croissants in half and toast/grill on a hot skillet until browned…..

Place 3 slices of turkey, one slice of cheese, and 2 slices of bacon on bottom croissant….

These are just guidelines, use as much or as little as you like. Top with lettuce and tomato slice. Spread mayonnaise over croissant top, and place on sandwich…..

Ingredients

  • 4 croissants
  • 1 pound sliced turkey breast
  • 4 slices provolone cheese or cheese of your choice
  • 8 slices un-cured bacon cooked
  • 4 Tablespoons mayonnaise
  • lettuce and tomato
