It holds up very well, I've had it more than a year and never had an issue. It's easy to clean and I use it for pasta and cleaning veggies. One thing to make sure is that it will fit your sink. This is technically not mean for a farmhouse sink. It's meant to sit on a double basin sink. I just moved into my apartment and bought this before move in day. I was disappointed but didnt want to return because it was such a great match. Still have it and still enjoy it !

    Nice and sturdy strainer. My only complaint is that the holes are so large that spaghetti slips through the holes a few times. DO NOT use this strainer for anything thinner than standard thickness spaghetti. Thin and angel hair will fall right through.
