This Adobo Slow Cooker Chicken is an easy weeknight meal that the entire family will love. It's a really simple recipe that even the kids can help with!
1TablespoonGOYA Adobo all purpose seasoning with pepper
1Tablespoonturmeric
14.4ounce candiced tomatoes
7ounce canfire roasted diced green chiles
Instructions
Place chicken breasts inside slow cooker.
Sprinkle chicken with Adobo and turmeric seasonings. Flip over and sprinkle the other side.
Pour diced chiles and tomatoes over the chicken.
Cover slow cooker and cook on HIGH for two hours.
Shred chicken with two forks and place back in the crock pot. Stir to combine.
Serve over rice or use as a taco filling.
Notes
This truly is a no recipe recipe, so get creative.
Kristin uses hot chiles, but she’s half Mexican and loves spicy food!! I am a wuss and choose to use mild. She also uses 2 cans of chiles and no tomatoes.
Make sure you check your chicken to make sure it is cooked thoroughly. If not, put the lid back on and continue cooking.
Kristin also tops hers with a little Topatio hot sauce and Tajin Clasico Seasoning.
For Paleo/Whole30 - serve over Cauliflower Rice or in lettuce leaves.
