When your rice is almost finished cooking {about 5 minutes left}, heat the oil, then add the green onions and garlic.
Do not worry if you do not have a wok, I have also make this Shrimp Fried Rice in a large skillet. Season your eggs with salt and pepper, lightly beat them, and add them to the pan.
Once they are set, push them to the edges of the pan add more oil, then add the shrimp.
Toss add the cooked rice.
