Slice the baguette into half-inch slices. Brush both sides with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper.
Place the slices (mine will hold 12) into the air fryer basket and slide the basket into the air fryer.
Press the “air fry” button, then set the time to 2-minutes and the temperature to 400°F. Press the Start button. The air fryer will heat up, then cook for 2-minutes. You do not need to preheat or flip the crostini over halfway through.
When finished, remove the basket from the air fryer and place the crostini on a plate or serving tray.
Slice the end off the garlic and rub it over the top of each slice. Depending on the size of your baguette and air fryer, repeat the process with any remaining bread slices. Serve immediately.
Notes
Allow crostini to cool completely and store in an airtight container on the counter up to 3 days for best flavor.
Crostini can also be stored in the freezer for a month. Defrost overnight and reheat in the air fryer before serving.
Serving size based on two slices per person. Amounts will vary based on size of baguette and appetites.
All air fryers cook differently. Cooking time is approximate based on my results. If crostini is not golden brown and crispy, cook for an additional minute.
