These Southwest Paleo Chicken Tenders are so crispy and delicious, you won't even notice that they are healthy! Whole 30 and Paleo compliant including the ranch dipping sauce, your family will love them.
½teaspoonsea salt (adjust if seasoning contains salt)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Brush or spray a baking sheet with olive oil, set aside.
Mix almond flour/meal, salt, and Southwest Seasoning together on a large plate or pie dish.
Beat eggs together in a bowl, set aside.
Dredge each chicken tender through the egg, then the flour mixture one by one and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for ten minutes, flip them over, and cook for an additional ten minutes until crispy and golden brown.
Remove from oven and serve with your choice of dipping sauce.
Notes
I chose almond flour because it was in the pantry, which made it really easy, LOL. I’m sure you could also grind your own pecan, walnut, or macadamia nut flour if you are not a fan of almonds.
I purchased chicken tenders at the grocery store, but you can also make your own by pounding chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap until they are an even thickness. Slice into 1 1/2 – inch strips and you’re ready to go.
Paleo Powder is a good seasoning if you are not in the mood to make your own. {affiliate link}. Not all of them contain salt, so adjust the amount of salt as needed.
