Notes
One of the things that I have always loved about this holiday punch, is that it is easy to transport and store. I usually refill an empty orange juice bottle and create some kind of fun label. If there are leftovers, I throw it in the freezer until I need it for a different party. Alcohol does not freeze, so it won't break the bottle.
This is why I chose to top off the punch with the ginger ale rather than adding it to the pitcher. If you add the ginger ale in the beginning, all of the fizz will be gone before your last guest arrives! It will also make it impossible to store any leftovers. That's me, always overthinking things, lol
The agave nectar is optional and needed if you feel your cocktail is too tart.
Lime slices would add a touch of green and make it more Christmasy. I was out of limes, so I had to uses lemons...use what you have.
The pomegranate seeds (arils) are for fun and to make it look more festive. If you do not have any it is not the end of the world.
Make sure you stir the pitcher before you pour the cocktail into the glasses to make sure it is mixed well.
