¾

chopped yellow onion
2

garlic

1
pound
ground beef
grass-fed ;)
¾
pound
Italian sausage
I use mild or sweet
¼
cup
chopped Italian parsley
3
cups
Classic Marinara Sauce
substitute a 25 ounce jar of your favorite sauce
1
pound
cooked pasta
drained (rotini or penne work best)
¼
cup
grated Parmesan cheese
1
cup
Mozzarella chunks
optional
Instructions
Heat oil over Medium heat in a large skillet.
Add the onion and cook until softened, about 4 minutes.
Add the garlic and cook for one additional minute.
Add the ground beef and Italian sausage. Chop meat into small pieces and cook until no longer pink.
Add the Italian parsley, stir to combine.
Add your Classic Marinara Sauce {or your favorite jarred sauce}. You just need to heat it through while waiting for the pasta to be done.
Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet and toss to combine.
If you would like to add Mozzarella chunks {or those tiny little balls} toss them in now.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.
Notes
Classic Marinara Sauce
This Pasta for a Crowd works with any pasta, but I personally prefer Rotini or Penne. It’s thicker and holds up well with the thick, meaty sauce.
If your friends or family are gluten-free, just use gluten-free pasta and everyone is happy.
Get creative and add your favorite ingredients; bell peppers, kale, or olives
