Ingredients

Instructions
Heat oil over Medium heat in a large skillet.
Add the onion and cook until softened, about 4 minutes.
Add the garlic and cook for one additional minute.
Add the ground beef and Italian sausage. Chop meat into small pieces and cook until no longer pink.
Add the Italian parsley, stir to combine.
Use as a filling for calzones, egg rolls, or as the base for meat sauce.
Notes
Yes you can add basil and oregano, but this basic version is used as a base in other recipes so simplicity works.
