Get your caffeine fix in dessert form with this traditional Affogato. Gelato or dairy-free ice cream topped with espresso, smiles all around!

Ingredients

vanilla gelato or ice cream
a big scoop

espresso

ounce
liqueur of your choice
optional
dark chocolate shavings
to garnish
Instructions
Place scoop of gelato or ice cream in a dessert bowl. My scoop is size 16.
Pour espresso over the top of the gelato/ice cream.
Sprinkle with shaved chocolate if desired.
