Oven Roasted Broccoli is a simple side dish that is tossed with olive oil, salt and pepper then roasted in the oven and finished with lemon and Parmesan.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Spread the broccoli pieces in a single layer on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat. Sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper and toss to combine.
Roast in the oven for 18 to 23 minutes, turning halfway through, until crispy and browned.
Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle on the lemon zest. Toss to coat.
Sprinkle with grated Parmesan and serve immediately.
Notes
I chopped my broccoli florets into small, bite-sized pieces and cooked them for 20 minutes. Larger pieces will take longer to cook, depending on your oven and personal preference.
All oven cook differently. Cooking time are approximate.
Make sure you zest your lemon before juicing it.
This broccoli would be delicious drizzled with Balsamic Glaze.
For an added kick, sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes.
