Pineapple Daiquiri Sorbet

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup superfine sugar
  • 4 Tablespoons light rum
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh lime juice

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Place mixture in the refrigerator and chill for at least one hour.
  • Pour mixture into a frozen canister for your ice cream maker, and process according to manufacture's instructions. {about 20 minutes}
  • Serve immediately for a soft serve consistency. For a more typical, scoopable consistency, freeze for 3 to 5 hours.
