Ingredients

  • 2 cups Bourbon Brown Sugar Barbecue Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard I used country-style
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup bourbon whiskey
  • 3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken (I used 1 1/2 pounds breasts & 1 1/2 pounds thighs)

Instructions

  • Stir barbecue sauce, bourbon, brown sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire together in the bowl of a slow cooker.
  • Add the chicken, stir to coat.
  • Cook on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours or on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
  • Shred the chicken and mix with barbecue sauce.
  • Use to make sandwiches or pizza.

To make sandwiches: Toast 6 Hamburger Buns, top with shredded barbecue chicken and Apple Coleslaw.
