This delicious and festive red white and blue fresh berries cookie pizza is easy to make and would be a perfect addition to any summer bbq or picnic!

Ingredients

sugar cookie dough
chilled
8
ounce package
cream cheese
softened

granulated sugar

tablespoon
fresh lemon zest

teaspoon
pure vanilla extract

mixed fresh berries
(rinsed, drained, and dry)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet, set aside.
Remove chilled cookie dough from the refrigerator and roll out to a 13-inch circle. You want the dough to be as even as possible so it cooks evenly.
Place on prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
In a large bowl beat cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and creamy.
Add the vanilla and lemon zest, beat to combine.
Spread frosting over cooled cookie.
Arrange the berries over the pizza in any pattern you choose.
Chill until ready to serve. Refrigerate unused portions for up to 3 days.
