This Simple Fajita Seasoning recipe is the perfect option to get dinner on the table quick! If you have an onion and some bell pepper you will have delicious fajitas in no time.

This seasoning is not only perfect for fajitas, it is also delicious in tacos, burritos and quesadillas! It is ready in minutes for last minute cravings, or you can double or triple the batch and always have some on hand.

Ingredients need to make this recipe:

  • chili powder
  • sea salt
  • paprika
  • granulated sugar – optional (omit for Whole30 & Paleo – substitute Swerve for Keto)
  • cumin
  • onion powder
  • garlic powder
  • cayenne pepper
  • ground cinnamon
  • ground coriander

How to make Homemade Fajita Seasoning:

Add chili powder, salt, paprika, sugar (if using), cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, cinnamon and coriander to a small jar or bowl.

Stir to combine.

Use immediately or store in a sealed container for up to 3 months.

Recipe Notes & Tips

  • You can taste the cayenne with a 1/4 teaspoon, but it is not overpowering. Use less or omit to cut the spiciness.
  • Use smoked paprika for a smokier flavor, sweet paprika for a sweeter seasoning.
  • This recipe make approximately 3 Tablespoons of seasoning, which should be enough to coat 2 pounds of steaks or chicken.
  • The recipe can be doubled or tripled by adjusting the serving size in the recipe card.
