Cinco de Mayo is next week, and I have created the perfect after dinner drink to share with your friends and family.....a Mexican Coffee Cocktail! We all know how wonderful coffee is, and the addition of tequila, coffee liqueur and whipped cream is P-E-R-F-E-C-T-I-O-N!
This Mexican Coffee Cocktail is another one of those recipes that I used to serve way back in my college days, and everyone loved them!
How to make a Mexican Coffee Cocktail:
I am old old-school, so I always grind my coffee beans right before I am ready to brew my coffee. 😉
While your coffee is brewing, measure 1 ounce of coffee liqueur and 1/2 ounce of tequila.....
and pour into a coffee mug. Add the fresh, hot coffee.....
Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon {if desired}.....
Ole'!! 😉

Yes please, I would like one of those cocktails! I didn't know that coffee and tequila actually play pretty well together 'til recently, and now I'm excited about the combo.
That coffee maker looks pretty slick, too. Some day I will get a coffee maker so I can stop drinking crappy instant. 😛

This recipe looks delicious and, I must say, I am completely intrigued by this coffeemaker. I love that the coffee can be brewed two ways, and, as much as I like the idea of the K-cups, I have yet to find one that yields strong enough coffee to suit my taste. Perhaps I'll win and will be able to find out on my own. Thanks for the giveaway!

Coffee + Cocktail, I have never tried this combination. Is it traditional Mexico recipe? Or, Created by yourself?
