A black bucket overflowing with green popcorn with silly eyes and colored sprinkles surrounded by spider webs

Wow, it’s already the middle of September!! I guess it’s about time to start creating some fun Halloween inspired treats. I was actually brainstorming ideas for a post that I just finished for my friend Claire. This one wouldn’t work for her post but it definitely needed to be made…and shared…because this Monster Mash Popcorn is delicious!!

It’s also pretty cute, and oh so easy to make. Although that picture does make it look like it is sliding across the table to get me!

This is one that the kiddos would have fun making, assuming that they are old enough to reach the microwave. 😉 I made my popcorn in the microwave {in brown paper bags} and dumped it into a LARGE bowl, you want lots of space for mixing…..

I almost grabbed the purple candy melts so I could call it Purple People Eater Popcorn, but I just can’t pass up the color green! 🙂

If you like more candies in your mix, add more, add nuts, add whatever you like. Have fun with it!

Another fun popcorn this time of year is Troll Boogers {slime green candied popcorn}…..
