I am back today with my second recipe for the WonderMill Grain Mill Challenge. This time I made a childhood favorite a little bit healthier, and it is still as delicious as I remember! How could you possibly go wrong with Whole Wheat Banana Nut Bread, right? It makes a perfect snack, and even a wonderful breakfast...but more on that later.

I love banana bread Lisa. I'm impressed that you have your own grain mill! Great recipe! Pinned.

That's one beautiful loaf! I love the nutty flavor that whole wheat brings to baked goods. Have you made a whole wheat chocolate chip cookie? 🙂

I loved doing the grain mill challenge. I was shocked at how much more flavorful freshly ground grain is... this bread actually looks tasty and healthy. That's hard to achieve.

It was a lot of fun. I'm still shocked at how little they required for a free machine! I need to get my hands on some other grains and try them out. 🙂
