Did you grow up eating banana pudding? How about banana cream pie? This Southern Banana Cream Cocktail is reminiscent of the deliciously creamy pudding that grandmas used to make, but  his version will knock you on your arse if you’re not careful! There is no cooking involved, in fact there aren’t even any bananas to slice…..Sometimes you need a creamy, decadent Southern Banana Cream Cocktail for dessert, trust me!! © COOKING WITH CURLS

Yes you read that correctly, you don’t need any bananas. Which is perfect for me because I am allergic to them! This decadent Southern Banana Cream Cocktail is flavored with banana liqueur, Southern Comfort, and Amaretto and topped off with a dollop of whipped cream and a vanilla wafer…for old time’s sake. 😉

This rich and creamy Southern Banana Cream Cocktail is decadent enough to be classified as dessert, and has enough kick to keep it a cocktail! © COOKING WITH CURLS

It’s perfect on a hot, summer day!

Notes:

  • I used Vanilla Bean CashewMilk Ice Cream which is why my cocktail is a taupe color instead of creamy white.
  • Use a dairy-free whipped topping (Soy Whip, Rice Whip) for a dairy-free cocktail.
  • I regret the choice of yellow straw. A black straw would have been much classier.
  • Taste your cocktail before you pour it to make any adjustments.
  • The nutritional analysis was calculated with regular vanilla ice cream. Your counts may vary depending on type of ice cream and whipped cream that you use.
