Do you have a favorite food, or condiment, that you eat ALL of the time? So much so that you start to get bored with it? You don't want to replace your favorite food, you just wish that the flavor would surprise you again like the first time you tried it. Don't sit there looking confused, you know exactly what I'm talking about...and it leads to Avocado Ranch Dressing.

Thick and creamy Avocado Ranch Dressing is a fun twist on an old favorite! cookingwithcurls.com

When you bite into something and your eyes widen...Oooh....this is delicious!! So delicious that you continue eating it on a spoon, crackers, scraps of bread, anything you can get your hands on because it is just that good!!

That is how I have always felt about my Homemade Ranch Dressing, you want to drink it out of the jar. As much as I love it, it was time to mix things up!

I have added many ingredients to my Ranch Dressing over the years, chipotle, guacamole, even barbecue sauce. But I wasn't in the mood for Mexican or tangy, just different.....Avocado!

How to make Avocado Ranch Dressing:

So I peeled a large avocado and placed it in a large bowl. I squeezed so lemon juice on top {about a Tablespoon} and mashed it until it was smooth{ish}.....

    Avocado Ranch Dressing mash cookingwithcurls.com

Then added milk {coconut/almond blend}, 1/2 a cup of mayonnaise since it has avocado, garlic, parsley, green onions, and 1 tablespoon of white wine vinegar.....

    Avocado Ranch Dressing herbs cookingwithcurls.com

And whisked it all together. Season with salt and pepper, whisk again, and pour into a jar or any container you have on hand.....

Place the Avocado Ranch Dressing in the refrigerator to chill before serving. You may need to add additional milk to thin if it appears to be too thick.

Store unused dressing in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. I have used mine 2 weeks later, well I think it was 2 weeks, I couldn't remember when I made it and I didn't drop dead so......

Oh man...2 of my very favorite things - Avocado and Ranch Dressing! Looks like it would be dangerously addicting; I bet I would be making things, just so I could have an excuse to use this dressing on top! 🙂

While I very rarely eat "creamy" type dressings, this sounds amazing! I would probably substitute my trusty plain Greek yogurt in for 1/2 the mayo though (you know, resolutions and such...) Saving and Pinning!

Oh I love homemade dressing...we never buy it! I tend to make vinaigrettes though rather than the creamy ones...no idea why. This looks delicious! Spreading lots of foodie love for you and sharing to my Facebook page right now! Thanks for sharing it with us at #FoodieFriDIY!

I have been searching for a good ranch dressing made without buttermilk (I'm deathly allergic!). I could never find one that quite delivered the flavor my family craved. We love this recipe, only switching lime juice for the lemon. Thanks so much for sharing.
