Impress your friends on a hot, summer day with this delicious Berry Wine Smoothie. So simple to make, all you need is a bag of frozen berries and a sweet, white wine. This really is the perfect drink for a long, holiday weekend that is the unofficial start of summer! Just be careful, they go down a bit too easily…..
This Berry Wine Smoothie tastes just like a fruit smoothie…with a kick that will sneak up on your if you are not careful…especially if you are drinking them with straws! 😉
Some of you may remember these Wine Smoothies from last summer when they originally appeared on White Lights on Wednesday as a contributor post…..
And as you can tell by the above photos, they are completely different colors! I guess there were more blackberries in this year’s bag of mixed berries than last years, LOL. I also managed to set up the shot almost exactly the same way!!
How to make Berry Wine Smoothies:
Pour berries and 1 cup of wine into a blender container…..
Start with the lowest setting, and blend to combine. Add additional wine as needed while slowly moving up to the highest setting. Puree until smooth…..
Pour into wine glasses {or any other type of glass} and serve…..
Throw in a straw, and you are ready to kick back and enjoy summer with family and friends! 🙂
Do you have any fun plans for this weekend? I might need to throw a barbecue bash just so I can make these Wine Smoothies. 😉
