This really is the perfect drink for a long, holiday weekend that is the unofficial start of summer! Just be careful, they go down a bit too easily…..

This Berry Wine Smoothie tastes just like a fruit smoothie…with a kick that will sneak up on your if you are not careful…especially if you are drinking them with straws! 😉

And as you can tell by the above photos, they are completely different colors! I guess there were more blackberries in this year’s bag of mixed berries than last years, LOL. I also managed to set up the shot almost exactly the same way!!

How to make Berry Wine Smoothies:

Pour berries and 1 cup of wine into a blender container…..

Start with the lowest setting, and blend to combine. Add additional wine as needed while slowly moving up to the highest setting. Puree until smooth…..

Pour into wine glasses {or any other type of glass} and serve…..

Ingredients

  • 1 pound frozen mixed berries
  • 1 3/4 cups sweet white wine (I used Cupcake Moscato d'Asti)

Instructions

  • Pour berries and 1 cup of wine into a blender container.
  • Start with the lowest setting, and blend.
  • Add additional wine as needed while slowly moving up to the highest setting.
  • Pour into wine glasses and serve.

Notes

This recipe will make 3 to 4 drinks, depending on the size of your wine glasses.
