It is Feast ‘n Devour time again and this month is blueberries! It is already crazy hot here in Arizona so I went the no-bake route, as in icy cold Frozen Blueberry Margaritas to celebrate summer’s blueberry harvest. With Memorial Day and 4th of July in mind, I added a bit of patriotic flare to my cocktails…..

You can be festive and patriotic all summer long with these delicious Frozen Blueberry Margaritas! cookingwithcurls.com

Full disclosure, these were originally going to be Red White and Blueberry Margaritas…but I could not get the layers to stay separated. So I scrapped that idea and kept the red, white and blue sparkling sugar {that are currently sold out} and cute patriotic Foil Fun Pix {affiliate link} in my delicious Frozen Blueberry Margaritas. Festive without the hassles, LOL

How to make Frozen Blueberry Margaritas:

Place all ingredients into the blender…..

Start with the lowest setting, gradually increasing until mixture is smooth and completely combined.

Rub lime juice around the rim of two margarita glasses. Dip glasses into course or superfine sugar spread out on a small plate…..

Divide margaritas between each glass and serve with a straw and lime slice….and cute foil tassels if using. 😉

I still don’t understand why blueberries are not blue on the inside. 😉

Notes:

  • My Frozen Blueberry Margaritas are on the tart side. If you would like them to be sweeter, simply add additional sugar to your mixture.
  • I used Cabo Wabo Tequila, but any high quality silver {clear} tequila will work.
  • I also bought some really cool Margarita Glasses {affiliate link} to give them a different look. I think I might have a cocktail glass obsession, LOL
  • You can make your own colored sugar by mixing white/clear course sugar with blue and red sugars.

Don’t forget to check out all of the other Beautiful Blueberry Recipes that my friends created, they look delicious.

Enjoy!!
