Berry Wine Smoothie

This delicious Berry Wine Smoothie is so simple to make! All you need is a bag of frozen berries and a sweet, white wine. This really is the perfect drink for a long, holiday weekend that is the unofficial start of summer!

This Berry Wine Smoothie tastes just like a fruit smoothie…with a kick that will sneak up on your if you are not careful…especially if you are drinking them with straws! 😉

Some of you may remember these Wine Smoothies from last summer when they originally appeared on White Lights on Wednesday as a contributor post.

And as you can tell by the above photos, they are completely different colors! I guess there were more blackberries in this year’s bag of mixed berries than last years, LOL

How to make Berry Wine Smoothies:

Pour berries and 1 cup of wine into a blender container.

Frozen blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries and white wine in a blender.

Start with the lowest setting, and blend to combine. Add additional wine as needed while slowly moving up to the highest setting. Puree until smooth.

Pour into wine glasses {or any other type of glass} and serve.

Throw in a straw, and you are ready to kick back and enjoy summer with family and friends! 🙂

  • 1 pound frozen mixed berries
  • 1.75 cups sweet white wine (I used Cupcake Moscato d’Asti)

Instructions

  • Pour berries and 1 cup of wine into a blender container.
  • Start with the lowest setting, and blend.

  • Pour into wine glasses and serve.

Notes

This recipe will make 3 to 4 drinks, depending on the size of your wine glasses.
