How to make Apple Crisp for Two:

We start by using one of my favorite kitchen tools, the apple peeler, corer slicer!! It makes slicing apples a breeze. 🙂

Ingredients

  • cup packed brown sugar
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup Old-fashioned oats
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter softened
  • ¼ cup toasted chopped pecans
  • 2 Granny Smith apples peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • vanilla ice cream optional

Instructions

  • Mix brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, and softened butter together in a small bowl. Stir in pecans and set aside.
  • Place peeled, cored, and thinly sliced apples in a 6-inch mini skillet or cake pan.
  • Sprinkle topping over apples.
  • Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven until golden brown and bubbling, about 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes.
  • Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and two spoons.

  3. this is a nice little recipe. i wanted a little bit for our dessert. this was fast and the crumb was perfect texture. i added some coconut to the mix. now i have to try the Pub styled steak.
