Are your party guests naughty or nice? You get to decided when you make this Grinch Who-Punch for your next holiday party | cookingwithcurls.com

They would feast on Who-pudding, and rare Who-roast-beast. And they’d FEAST! FEAST! FEAST! I have never been to Who-ville, have you? Well of course you haven’t silly, but I would like to think that Grinch Who-Punch would be served at the Whos holiday feast! Boy am I stretching on this one, lol.

Maybe it’s the evilness in my Facebook feed that is making the Grinch story make so much sense this holiday season. Maybe fun rhymes make it easier to deal with everything that is going on right now across the country. Maybe we need some Who magic, and of course some Grinch Who-Punch!!

Some of you may remember the Polyjuice Potion cocktail that I made a few years ago for a Harry Potter Halloween party. It has been insanely popular, and people have commented about it also being perfect for Christmas parties….so I decided to go ahead and create a Grinch Who-punch for the holidays.

This Grinch Who-Punch is so easy to prepare and you get to decide if you want it to be naughty or nice | cookingwithcurls.com

This is the perfect beverage to serve because it can be put together at the last minute.

How to make Grinch Who-Punch:

Scoop the lime sherbet into a large punch bowl or container. Pour in the vodka {if using} and lemon-lime soda.

and serve with a cute Jumbo Red Heart Sprinkles {that you can purchase on Amazon}

This Grinch Who-Punch can be made naughty or nice depending on who is coming to your holiday party | cookingwithcurls.com

Doesn’t that make you heart grow three sizes? Oh come on, that made you laugh didn’t it? 😉

Notes:

  • Different lime sherbets are different shades of green!! As you will see below, the Polyjuice Potion is significantly darker than the Kroger Deluxe Lime Sherbet that I used for this recipe.
  • If you haven’t guessed already, naughty or nice refers to the addition of vodka.
  • You can break up the sherbet with a fork, or scoop it into the bowl with an ice cream scoop so it does not remain in one solid chunk. 😉
  • Remember to always drink responsibly!!

You could also add some green coloring to make your punch darker or greener, but as I mentioned in the Grinch Hot Chocolate post, it can be tricky to find the right shade.

Here is the Polyjuicy Potion for comparison of lime sherbet shades of green…..

I lived in Iowa at the time, so that would have probably been Hyvee’s brand…but I’m not positive. I only mention it because I was so shocked when I opened the carton and saw how light mine was…you have been warned!!

Some additional Grinch recipes for you holiday enjoyment:

  • Grinch Snowball Cookies
  • Grinch Hot Chocolate – also ‘naughty” or “nice”
  • Grinch Popcorn
  • Grinch Puppy Chow – for Max 😉

Enjoy!!

I had to see what you used for the green popcorn. I wouldn’t have thought of candy melts, but I bet it’s good.. My mom made colored popcorn balls using flavored gelatin. She made red and green for Christmas — orange for Halloween.
