Witches Brew Cocktail in a small clear plastic mug with a large jar in the background

This Witches Brew Cocktail is not exactly related to Harry Potter, other than the fact that it has “Witches” in the name, lol. This is actually the same cocktail that I make every year for Halloween, and every year it has a different name related to my costume. When I found this really cute glass jar on Zulily a couple of months ago, I knew that it would be perfect for my punch this year…and give it it’s name.

Since I was already planning on dressing up as Professor Trelawney for Halloween, I needed a name that would at least make some kind of sense. I don’r remember ever hearing about a Divination Potion, so Witches Brew Cocktail it is!

Then I decided that I like these images better than last year’s Voodoo Juice, so I decided to just create a brand new post and give this Witches Brew Cocktail a permanent home within the Harry Potter Party. Yes, that does mean that I am going to create one big post with everything linked together, along with photos of the decorations.

How to make Witches Brew Cocktail:

This recipe is quite simple, and can be adjusted for any size crowd. Two parts orange juice, two parts pomegranate juice, and one part citrus vodka. Stir or shake to combine and you’re ready to party!

Ingredients

  • 6 cups orange juice

  • 3 cups citrus vodka

Instructions

  • Pour the orange juice, pomegranate juice, and vodka into your container of choice. I chose a 1 gallon glass jug.
  • Shake or stir to combine, and serve.
  • Refrigerate any unused portion in a sealed container for up to three days. It starts to taste strange after that.
