50+ Gift Ideas for Foodies
Let’s start with the smaller items:
These are the things that would be perfect as stocking stuffers or grouped together in a gift basket.
Joseph Joseph Rocker Garlic Crusher
I broke my green plastic rocker, so I highly recommend buying the stainless steel version! I love this thing!!
Alpha Grillers Garlic Press and Peeler Set
I was sent this garlic press set to review last year, and I love it. It’s easy to squeeze and easy to clean.
OXO Good Grips Soap Dispensing Palm Brush
This brush makes cleaning out those little garlic press holes super easy!
These shears are only used in my kitchen for herbs, dough, etc. The blades come apart, so they are easy to clean.
I give these as gifts all the time, everyone loves them.
Speaking of knives…I have the green chef’s knife but they come in lots of different colors and work great.
I do not own expensive knives. I buy cheaper ones and sharpen as needed. 😉
Most people don’t even think about sharpening their knives.
These knives are crazy sharp and perfect for small jobs.
Kuhn Rikon Safety Lid Can Opener
This can opener is simple to use AND it cuts the top of the lid off of the can, so there’s no sharp edge or rim to deal with. My son was fascinated by it on Thanksgiving, so he’s getting one for Christmas. 😉
Joseph Joseph Expanding Trivet
This trivet doesn’t take up a lot of space in the drawer, and expands to whatever size you need.
I could not survive without this tool, and it comes in lots of different colors!!
I like this whisk because it is narrower and gets into the corners of the pan better.
Perfect for blending soups right in the pot.
The gold standard for liquid measuring.
Narrow enough to fit into most spice jars.
The BEST measuring cups that I have ever owned!
These are the greatest invention EVER!! I use them to hang my measuring cups, dish drying rack, and strainers on the inside of my cabinet doors.
Joseph Joseph Large Square Colander
The handle hangs over the center bar in the sink for hands free draining…and it comes in lots pretty colors. 😉
Cooking requires math, this magnet makes life easier.
Perfect for those of us that do not speak metric. 😉
I always use these when cutting raw meat!
I was fortunate enough to have won this board in a baking contest a few years ago, and I absolutely love it! It won’t crack like the bamboo/wood boards do.
Skip the tissue paper and wrap your gifts in some cute kitchen towels. 🙂

Heavy duty so they don’t warp or bend.
These mats are awesome!
Cookie scoops in multiple sizes that are also perfect for muffins and meatballs.

A unique shape to give to a unique friend. 😉
This springform pan is awesome and does not leak!
Make pies and crisps in a flash with this handy dandy little toy.

The best ice cream scoop ever!
The perfect way to store your homemade ice cream.
Use to divide pizza/sweet roll dough, or to pick up chopped foods and move them around.
For Pizza Lovers
I have been using bread machines for over 23 years to make pizza dough, hamburger buns, and dough for sweet rolls. Yes, it does also bake awesome bread.
I love, love, love my pizza stones!
The easiest way to transport pizza, just don’t ever cut on it!
For Wine Lovers
The easiest way to open a bottle of wine…every time!
So simple, and they don’t break if you drop them. 😉
If you’re anything like me, you always end up with leftover champagne or sparkling wine. I am dying to give these a try!
For Stir Fry Lovers
My wok {with darker handles} is over 30 years old and still going strong.
They also work great for tossing stuffing together and pulling the turkey off the grill. 😉
I think this was actually my mom’s strainer that moved out with me 30 years ago. I use it to remove pasta, potatoes, and boiled eggs from boiling water.
Dream Gifts
Updated to add the #1 requested gift for the last two years!!
I have three of these and I absolutely love them!! Main in one, side in the other, and dessert in the third one. 😉

Calphalon Tri-Ply Cookware Set
Best Christmas gift ever!
You probably recognize this pan, I use it almost daily. 😉
So sturdy and strong! I have two of them holding all of my pans on the wall.
Hash browns, deep-dish pizzas, peach cobbler…awesome!
Le Creuset 7 1/4 Quart Dutch Oven
Love, love, love this pan! It was a Christmas present to myself a few years ago. 🙂
Second best gift ever!
I tried to put together a collection of gift ideas that would be perfect for college students or newlyweds, all the way up to gifts for people that are looking to expand their cooking skills.
You would be surprised how many of my friends love some of the simplest items in my kitchen, but can’t justify buying a cool “gadget”. That to me is the perfect gift; something they love, that they won’t buy for themselves!!
